  • Would keep buying this product!!

I will say that they aren't as comfortable for daily wear as other boots that I've had, but they are good for work and they look awesome! They fell apart within a few months, but the warranty is great and Keen got back to me the next day with money to buy a new pair. As long as their warranty continues to hold up I would keep buying these boots!

Super comfy right off the bat

No break in period for me, felt good on me feet the first day I wore them. True to size. The only thing I have concerns about is the stitching seems to be poor (many others have commented the same) I am 2 weeks in on the boots and the stitching is starting to pop out in some spots. Other than that I love these boots and definitely will be my go to.

    Love them but.....

I do love these boots, but they don't last a long time. I read the reviews that basically said the same thing, but thought perhaps they were tougher on the boots than I would be. Unfortunately I was wrong. I do deliveries all day, and it didn't take long at all for the toe stitching to start to fail. I have glued the toe back together multiple times with no real success. At this point the entire steel toe is essentially visible with just a flap that will fall over it. The laces are an absolute joke and busted within a month. I love the look and they are super comfortable and I just bought a second pair. I just realize they're only good for around 5 months of work.

    Very comfortable and stylish

I am a commercial electrician and these are the most comfortable work boots I have ever owned. The laces frayed quickly, but I replaced them with regular work boot laces and no more problems. They are wide and roomy but tighten down around the ankle and fit well. I wear a half size bigger in these than my other boots due to the length. No break-in. They were comfortable right out of the box. I wore these through a lot of puddles this winter and they never leaked at all. I will definitely purchase these again when this pair wears out. I've had them for about 8 months and they are going strong.

Great look, classic feel. Easy on the back and feet.

I work in an office environment, but still need to get out on the waterfront and walk the docks. I would not trust these for full-time industrial wear, but they are very casual and look great whether I need to wear a shirt and tie with slacks or jeans and a raincoat. Fitment is great, soles feel good for prolonged standing. Laces and grommets need to be rethought; either include Kevlar laces or use a chamfered grommet style, the 90 degree internal edge of the grommet shreds the laces. The tongue needs some work, the upper part looks man-made and thinner; maybe to make lacing more comfortable. However, it creates a weak point where it is sewn to the upper. Maybe just bring the upper all the way through as the tongue? Stitching looks great and gives a casual look... once the boot experiences abrasive industrial environment, you can tell the stitching will weaken and cause issues. I wouldn't expect them to hold up to wet environments, welding/grinding, or hazards over the top of your feet. Otherwise, great walking shoe with enough protection for light industrial or maybe operator work. I even wear them riding motorcycles and they feel great.

One of my favorite boots, really good looking comfortable and functional. If a boot can be sexy, this one is.

This won't be my last purchase of the San Jose boot.

I bought the Black version of this work boot and it looks amazing and feels even better out of the box. I will definitely purchase it in another color. I work driving and operation heavy equipment, so they shouldn't get a lot of abuse. This is my favorite work boot brand at the moment and my fifth pair.

Great comfort and looks, though quite poor craftsmanship.

We've been looking for a new shoe design for our brewery staff. I had heard some great things about Keen and decided to give them a shot because they had all the things we are looking for. When I first received them, I absolutely loved them. Great looking and incredibly comfortable. After using them for about 6 weeks, the poor quality is really showing. The laces on one has already fallen apart to the point I am buying new ones because they can not even be unlaced anymore. The sewing is already coming apart in several places and at this rate, will most likely completely fall apart in a couple months. For the price, you are far better off looking elsewhere or at the very least, A different model. After all I'd heard about keen, I'm incredibly disappointed and doubt we will be using them in the future.

Nice looking work boot, but comfort and durability lacking.

Purchased this work boot last week. Shoe laces frayed and pull apart after 4 days. Boot is uncomfortable and does not break in very well. Noticing that the stitching is fraying also.
