Got these to to wear with skirts and dressier shorts. They're cute and feminine. My other Presidios are a 7.5 but ordered a 7 as recommended in other reviews, which was smart. I'm not sure if these run big, or it's the styling that makes them fit differently. They definitely need breaking in. Wore them around the house with big socks for 2 days before the top edge stopped rubbing, but it DID stop rubbing. I also, initially, didn't tighten the strap enough and my foot kept slipping into the toe box, making them feel slightly small. Positioning the strap correctly kept my heal back, which cured the heal-slip, as well as gave my toes plenty of wiggle room up front. These shoes are not the slide-on pry-off variety. You must unbuckle. And my only real criticism is the buckle is small and difficult to work. I am happy for the reasons I bought them and they look nice with hose or tights. They are well constructed and have good arch support. They continue to soften up and once they're on my feet, stay put and feel great!
